How does the volunteer program work?

Mobilization

Maquipucuna provides transportation to and from the Reserve to volunteers (but not always). Volunteers will have to arrange their travels to and from their stations depending on Maquipucuna's transportation facilities and schedules if a ride is needed. If a volunteer or group of volunteers want a ride during an unscheduled time an additional US$50 will be required. Car rides can also be used (on schedule rides) to move to and from Sta.Marianita (the closest town to the Reserve) if not, an hour walk will be necessary.
